Auction to be held at The Meadowbrook Park, Evergreen Building 5430 W Tiffin St. Bascom, OH 44883. Bascom is on St. Rt. 18 northwest of Tiffin or southeast of Fostoria.

Saturday October 15, 2016 at 10 AM.

Offering 197.454 acres consisting of two Loudon Twp. farms located in Sections 33 & 34.  The soils are mainly Blount & Pewamo. They are being sold by the Multi-parcel method that will be projected on a screen so buyers can view the bids and totals. 

Farm 1.  118.891 acres PN I34000551360000 Being the west 3/4 of the SW ¼ of Section 34.  This farm is gently sloping on top and tillable except 2 small areas on the east border.  It has frontage and access to S Twp. Rd. 59 and W Twp. Rd. 100.

Farm 2.  78.563 acres  PN I340005370000 being part of the W ½ NW ¼ of Section 33.  This farm is flat to gently sloping on top with 64.76 acres of tillable farming land.  The nontillable is a 13.67 acre woods in the southeast corner and an open ditch that cuts across the northwest corner. This farm fronts on Twp. Rd. 108 w/ good access.

Terms of the auction:  Ten thousand dollars shall be paid down on each parcel on auction day and the balance paid within 45 days when the deed will be delivered.  Possession will be given following the harvest of the Fall crops. Buyer will receive the Fall wheat sowing rights.  Real Estate taxes will be prorated as of the date of deed delivery.  Sellers want this family business settled, however, they do reserve the right to refuse any bids. Be prepared to bid and buy.
